Andong Cafe 7th Street,
The chrysanthemum tea is famous in Andong. In addition, there is a large chrysanthemum farm in the lower part of Bongjeongsa Temple

Andong Bongjeongsa Temple, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018.

The road to Bongjeongsa Temple in Andong is a quiet rural village.
There are some pretty little cafes in that quiet neighborhood.

The cafe i’m going this time is 7th Street.

Tea, more delicious than coffee, selling exotic and traditional tea.
Go to a special place.

The chrysanthemum tea is famous in Andong. In addition, there is a large chrysanthemum farm in the lower part of Bongjeongsa Temple, which is the best match for Bongjeongsa Temple.

Cafe Seven Street have with the chrysanthemum tea factory here.

It’s located at the entrance to Bongjeongsa Temple. It’s marked big on the side of the road, so it’s not difficult to find it at all.

In addition, the road where the cafe is located is called ‘Gukhwa Hyang-gil’. Since the street name is ‘chrysanthemum scent’, the cafe that suits here the best is definitely chrysanthemum tea cafe.

In hot summer or early fall, it is a nice place to sit outside and have a nice cup of tea while enjoying the cool breeze.

Cafe 7th Street is a cafe run by Geumguk chrysanthemum Tea Company. But it doesn’t just sell chrysanthemum tea. There is coffee and a variety of drinks.

There is an organic chrysanthemum tea and a geumguk Phellinus linteus mushroom puer tea.

Finish the order and go upstairs.
The first floor is good, but the owner recommends the second floor.

Exotic interior like a cafe in India. There’s a chair on a floor then i sits there. For some reason, I think we should sit down and drink a tea. I think it will be much delicious.

I’m the only one with no one.
So I can look around very freely.

I ordered a chrysanthemum tea and drank it when I first stopped by. As it was hot summer, I ordered a cold chrysanthemum tea.

A total of three glasses are served on a pretty trail. Water can be refilled and the tea in a large glass jar is savored in a small bowl.

This cafe closed on Mondays.
Every cafe in this area is closed every Monday.

On my second visit, I ordered a Phellinus linteus mushroom puer tea. Since it is autumn, I ordered a warm tea.

A prettier decoration than before, a trail with a artificial flower, it is so appetizing!

It’s more darker than chrysanthemum tea. Both the aroma and the taste are comfortable. It’s a great tea to sit quietly and settle down.

The main dessert, the croissant whipping cream. Sweet whipped cream and soft croissant, savory nuts and fresh dried tangerines.

It looks good and tastes great.

If you stop by Bongjeongsa temple, stop thinking about coffee for a while, then Why don’t you stop by the teahouse and have a sip of hot chrysanthemum tea?

Chrysanthemum tea well harmonized with Bongjeongsa temple. And sweet croissant whipped cream.

It becomes a comfortable and pleasant rest where anxiety disappears
