Woryeonggyo Bridge was completed in 2003. The bridge is 387 meters long and 3.6 meters wide. It is the longest wooden bridge in Korea.

Andong is called the capital of Korean mental culture. Because Korea’s Confucian tradition is most heavily buried. There are many head houses and old houses all over the place like the symbol.
It may be a rare trace in other regions, but it is part of life in Andong. You don’t have to think too heavy a Confucian culture. There is no reason to regard it as an old one. It is also a trace of life.
Woryeonggyo Bridge crosses the Nakdong River east of Andong. It is not far from Andong Dam. Nearby, there are many things to see, including Andong Folk Museum, Seonseong Shrine, traditional cultural experience hall, and an andong water center.
There are also restaurants where you can taste Heotjesatbap and Salted Grilled Mackerel.

Woryeonggyo Bridge was completed in 2003. The bridge is 387 meters long and 3.6 meters wide. It is the longest wooden bridge in Korea. In the middle of the bridge, there is the pavilion called Woryeongjeong.
Woryeomggyo Bridge is also a fountain bridge. Three times a day (12:30, 18:30, 20:30), water flows from the bridge to show a fountain show.
You can see it from across the bridge or you can see it from the bridge. The feeling is different at night when night lights are combined.
If you want to take pictures of Woryeonggyo at night, I recommend you to the observatory of the Andong water Center. The combination of Seongseonghyeon Shrine on the other side of the hill makes it even more worth seeing. It is best to enjoy the night view of Woryeonggyo quietly because there are not many people coming and going.

The meaning of ‘Woryeonggyo’ is ‘the bridge that shines the moon’. Perhaps it was beautiful at night when the moon was rising.

Today is especially clear and Andong Lake is green.

It was first built in 2003 but was reconstructed due to rot and stability problems and officially opened in 2009.

Arrival at Woryeongjeong. Woryeongjeong is in the middle of Woryeonggyo Bridge. I’m gonna sit up and relax in a beautiful Octagonal Pavilion.

A boat is approaching from a distance and passing under the Woryeonggyo Bridge. Enjoy the water leisurely with tourists and guide instructions.
