It is a 1,000-year-old temple surrounded by skyscrapers in Gangnam, Seoul. Many people visit the temple and make wishes. Maitreya Buddha in front of Daewoongjeon Hall and the Hyeonpan built to publish Buddhist books and store the scriptures is famous.
In particular, the inscription on the Hyeonpan in Panjeon was written by Chusa Kim Jung-hee, a renowned calligrapher of the time who was staying at the temple and spending his last years.
It runs a temple stay for foreigners and a temple life program that experiences about three hours of temple life, and on every Thursday, there is a program to experience Balwoo Gongyang, Chamsun and Yebu Takbon.
