Cheongwadae Sarangchae is a space to learn about Korean culture and the history of former Korean presidents. 

Seochon Village, literally meaning west village, is named in reference to its location west of Gyeongbokgung Palace. 

Cheongwadae Sarangchae

CheongWaDae Sarangchae is a place where visitors can take a quick look at the footsteps of past presidents and the history of the development of the capital city of Seoul, focusing on Cheong Wa Dae, the heart of modern history of the Republic of Korea’s modern history.

Seochon Village

Seochon, near Sarangchae, Cheong Wa Dae, means “situated west of Gyeongbokgung Palace” has a hidden hanok in every alley, and small galleries, cafes and restaurants, including Daelim Museum of Art.

Educational program for elementary school students: ‘I am the future president’
Every Wednesday 15:00 and Saturday 9:30 (approx. 2 hour program).

Small cars (16 seats or less): 2,000 won for the first two hours.
Medium and large cars (more than 16 seats): 4,000 won for the first two hours.
