Dongmyo Flea Market was formed in the 1980s when merchants gathered in earnest. In June 1983, when a group of antique shops were established in Janghanpyeong, many stores moved to the Janghanpyeong, and used art dealers naturally gathered there, reaching the present stage.

Dongmyo Flea Market is a vintage market formed around Donggeummyo, a shrine dedicated to the royal family of Samgukji, Guan Yu. 

Along the stone walls of the shrine, hundreds of seats are lined up to Cheonggyecheon Stream, and flea markets will be held to every corner of the alley, including used clothes, antiques, LPs and miscellaneous goods. 

In order to buy good things, it is better to keep up with the open time of the market and prepare enough 1,000-won bills.

In particular, it is now in place as merchants of Hwanghak-dong Flea Market lost their business due to the restoration project of Cheonggyecheon, which was implemented between 2003 and 2005 and moved here in Dongmyo Flea Market.
