Standing at the Unification Observatory at an altitude of 70 meters above sea level where the Demarcation line and the southern limit line(SLL) meet, you can see Mt. Geumgangsan on a clear day.

The frontline guard post(GP), which faces a cross-border fence under its feet, makes you feel tense.

The site, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Goseong, which is visited by more than 1.5 million tourists a year, has facilities such as the Statue of Seongmo, Maitreya Buddha for those wishing for unification, as well as displays for security education such as armored vehicles, tanks and airplanes.

You can look down the Inter-Korean roads for land tours to Mt. Kumgang, which was opened in 2004.
