Uiwang RailBike
is available for one-day trips wherever you depart from the Seoul. It’s a perfect place for a child who wants to play train.

Railbikes in other areas were built using the original railroad tracks. Uiwang Rail Bike is the first in Korea to install a new lake-circulating rail.
The course departs from the boarding area and returns 4.3 kilometers. There are currently 100 railbikes and lake trains in operation at Uiwang Rail Park.

The rail bike is for four people, but only two people can ride it. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes to circle the lake. It has many turns to feel less bored. Thanks to this, it is slightly more powerful than other railbikes, which usually have only a straight course.
If you enjoy speeding, you should ride on the railbike in front of the procession, or if you want to enjoy the view at a leisurely pace, ride on the railbike behind the procession.

Before departing, it feels like 4.3 kilometers is long. However, time passes quickly because there are many things to see, such as flower tunnel, pop-up museum, Lucky Zone, Photo Zone, Speed Zone, and Mist Zone in the middle of the course.
Especially the speed zone is the most fun. If you push hard, the rail bike speed is displayed on the display board. The “Wow!” sound goes on to see if the railbike running coolly.

Fine water is sprayed from both sides of the rail, allowing you to cool off for a while. To explore the lake more comfortably, take the Lake Train. 48 people ride the train. The entire journey takes about 30 minutes.

I recommend riding a rail bike at 4:30 p.m. A lake with a light sunset of the sky and its oars intact. Of course, all other times are fine, but if you like the sunset, 4:30 is the best time.

The railroad museum and Uiwang Rail Park are available for one-day trips wherever you depart from the Seoul. It’s a perfect place for a child who wants to play train all day in the arms of nature. I recommend it as a family outing in any season.
