Representative beach of Jeju island
It is adjacent to Hallym Park, 32 kilometers west of Jeju City.
The scenery is very beautiful, combining a sandy beach with a lot of clamshell powder, the Biyangdo island floating in the sea ahead, a beautiful sea of cobalt colors, and a dense forest of pine trees.
The white sand beach is about 200 meters long, 60 meters wide, average depth of 1.2 meters, and gradient of 3 to 8 degrees, making it suitable for a family-level beach because of its shallow water depth and gentle slope.
It is also well developed with various amenities and can camp out in pine forest.
The southwestern coast of the beach connects with Geumneung Beach, which residents call the two beaches a “Hyeopjae Beach”
Harmony with Pine Forest and Beach
Inside the beach, there are various amenities such as changing rooms, shower rooms, rest areas, drinking water tables and toilets, which are convenient to use.
In addition, there are thick pine forests around the beach, where you can enjoy camping and forest bathing, and you can enjoy fresh seafood because abalone and trumpet shell are caught a lot.
Not far away, there are Hallym Park, Grotto Cave, Myeongwoldae, Hwangnyongsa Temple, and Yeonggaksa Temple, so you can look around with the beach.
Especially, the view of Biyangdo in front of the beach is beautiful with clear and clean sea water. Biyangdo and the sunset falling over the sea are another spectacular sight to be missed here.
In summer, you can enjoy Jeju Island’s green night under palm trees as well as night opening.
