Incheon China town,
A “small China in Korea” where the culture of Korea and China coexist, 2,000 Chinese moved to the current Sunlin-dong area.

After dozing off for an hour on subway line No. 1 and reading a book, i arrive at the China town.

I finally stepped into Incheon China Town, which I only heard through words and only through the Internet.

Since I can’t go far to China, I should enjoy traveling in Chinatown, China in Korea.

I’m going to eat a lot today!!

If you get off the subway at Incheon Station and cross the crosswalk, you will find the entrance to Chinatown. Just a short walk up that road, China is out in front.

The signboard of a strong red color and golden yellow, which reminds us of gold, dazzles our eyes. That’s a really strong color impression.

I’m looking around where to eat lunch. The line at every store is long enough to wait for the popular rides in the amusement park.

It tastes similar everywhere, right? Fortunately, there aren’t many options.
I’m gonna walk around a little bit more and then line up.

Three-quarters of the people here are in line. You have to wait 30 minutes for a single meal.

You eat, you go somewhere else, you stand in line, you digest.
Eat, wait, digest.
Eat, wait, digest.
Then it’s time to go home.

I go all over the place to get a taste of various. Now that i’ve got enough up here, i’m going down. I’ll come back when I’m full.

The smell of oil peculiar to Chinese food spreads in the air.

And i’m arrived at the ‘Mandabok’ restaurant. I waited here for about an hour. It was outside, shivering with the cold.

An hour’s wait is the turn to see the light.
Now I’m gonna sit down and eat the main dish of the day.

A plate of crispy, chewy sweet and sour pork.
Sweet and sour pork served within three minutes of ordering.

It look so delicious and the smell is awesome. My mouth is watering and can’t resist to reach my chopsticks..

White jjajangmyeon
White jjajangmyeon

It’s the first time I’ve heard it and tried it today, ‘White jjajangmyeon’. I’ve never heard of white jjamppong(Spicy seafood noodle) before, but I’ve never heard of it before.

A bowl of noodles without any garnish, a bowl of stock, a plate of meat sauce served separately but roasted without a chunjang(Black soybean).

Here’s how to eat.

  1. 3 ~ 4 spoons of meat sauce? Season it according to your taste.
  2. 2 ~ 3 spoons of stock? Add this to suit your taste as well.
  3. You can mix the minced garlic with it.

It tastes unique.

I’ve had a great meal, so I’m gonna go look around again. Then I’m going to eat street food. I’ll be digested, when i’m in line again.

There are king dumplings and fruit candies, but they are not popular.

Popular menus include lamb skewers, fire pot dumplings, soup dumplings, etc. The line is too long. These are pass~!

I waited an hour in line for lunch, and I’m afraid to stand in line again.

Donghwa Village.
Donghwa Village.

Because Chinatown is smaller than I thought, I came to the nearby village of Donghwa. Nearby, as soon as you go out the west gate of Chinatown, you’ll find the entrance to Donghwa Village.

Donghwa Village similar to Mural Village. It’s something children will like.

Hwaduk(Hot pot) dumpling that i last bought in line before going back home. Red beans, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, meat. BUT I like meat. Hwaduk dumplings wrapped tteokgalbi with bread. Delicious!

Now it is time to take the subway for another hour to go home.
I should go to sleep again.
