“Mokoji Hamcho Bajirak” which means “many people gather for fun or parties” the restaurant has a feature of capturing the freshness of the sea.

Mokoji Hamcho(salicomia herbacea) Bajirak(baby clam) is a restaurant run by a beautiful family of fishermen in Gochang.

Hamcho(salicomia herbacea): It is a year-old plant that grows on the beach. Among plants, they usually live in unusually salty swamps, or mudflats.

Rarely found in the donghae(east sea). Because it’s not growing in sand. It is also rich in salt throughout, as it is a must for physiological phenomenon. Using these characteristics, Grind it and use it as a substitute for salt; squeeze the juice out and use it as a substitute for soy sauce.

In particular, Bajirak broth, which was created by constant research by mother and daughter, is a proprietary patent for this house. Its main point is that it has a deep taste of clams without any chemical condiments.

Hamcho pancake is a natural savory taste, and if you put dried gochang seaweed on a hotpot rice with a full of clams, it will bring back the taste that was lost.

Bajirak Vinegar Dressing, made of all kinds of seasonal fruits and plum liquid, is a key recipe for a daughter who captivates young people.

Gochang’s mudflats are one of the world’s top five mudflats that applied to be listed as UNESCO’s World Natural Heritage in 2020 and one of Korea’s four most valuable mudflats.

Those who guard Gochang’s mudflats with pride that they are not just workplaces for a living, but gifts of the sea that purify everything and give birth to life. It is a simple wish for the hearts to be fully conveyed to the food eaters.
