The Seoul Grand Park Botanical Garden, which opened in 1985, is located at the foot of Cheonggye Mountain surrounded by dense forests, and was registered as the first public arboretum by a Seoul Metropolitan Government in June 2015.

The main facilities include the Greenhouse Botanical Gardens, the Plant Sample Exhibition Center, and Theme Garden.

The total number of plants in the country is 1,262 species, including cactus, polygamous plants, carnivorous plants, and roses.

Greenhouse botanical gardens contain tropical and subtropical plants and many rare plants. 

The Plant Sampling Exhibition Hall displays samples and photographs of plants, and the theme park features roses and wild flowers. 

In addition, various programs are also operated, including the Rose Garden Festival, the insectivorous plant exhibition, the Plant Classroom, and forest experience education.
