Seoul was the capital of Joseon for 600 years.
As a museum in the capital city with a long history, it boasts more exhibits and contents than any other city museum.
The exhibition centers on the lives and culture of Seoulites during the Joseon Dynasty.
Enter the entrance of the exhibition hall and start the tour by examining the three-dimensional map of Hanyang(Seoul).

The clothes worn by the people of Seoul and used items are displayed one after the other. Around the middle of the exhibition, the animation about the daily lives of Seoulites is shown. Not only do children like it, but it’s also helpful for adults to see it.

Passing to the opposite exhibition hall, you will find the story of the palace, which was the center of Seoul.
The layout and structure of palaces in Hanyang(Seoul) will be shown in video clips, and relics such as the national seal, including the clothes worn by the king.
Especially, touch museum is equipped with facilities that automatically recognize traditional Korean living tools such as trimming and door hooking and show how they are actually used through the screen above.
On the upper floor of the exhibition hall is the “Bridge of Information” which often passes without being able to find the stairs that go up.
It is a space that helps you understand the exhibits again by playing games through computer programs.
