The War Memorial of Korea exhibits and preserve materials related to the Korean War and serves as a national moral educational venue.
The War Memorial of Korea, like a general museum, has exhibition, data and research, and educational activities functions.

It also serves as a place to pay tribute to the sacrifices of patriots
The exhibition is divided into indoor and outdoor exhibitions, and there are a total of 9,000 exhibits.
The 10,900-pyeong(3.3 square meter) indoor exhibition hall consists of seven exhibition rooms, including the Hoguk(Patriots) Memorial Room, the War History Room, the Korean War Room, the Overseas Dispatch Room, the Armed Forces Power Station, the Defense Security Equipment Room and the Large Equipment Room.

The indoor exhibition hall
The indoor exhibition hall is displayed dynamically according to various exhibition techniques, including various war materials from the Three Kingdoms period to the modern and the exploits of those who dedicated themselves to the great nation in three dimensions.
In particular, it consists of experience facilities to understand the causes of the outbreak of the Korean War and the entire process from the beginning to the end of the war.

The outdoor exhibition hall
On display at the outdoor exhibition hall are large arms from around the world, sculptures symbolizing the Korean War, the Tomb of King Gwanggaeto, the statue of brother, and the peace clock tower.
In the corridors of both sides of the memorial hall, there is a famous monument for soldiers killed in the Korean War and the Vietnam War, as well as a monument for U.N. soldiers who fought in the Korean War.

In addition to the exhibition, the War Memorial of Korea conducts research on the Korean War, holds academic seminars every year, and selects the “Patriots of the Month” every month for a event.
It also provides permanent preservation and transmission of artifacts for exhibition, research and education, and operates education programs for various age groups, including the ‘Hoguk University of Culture’ and ‘Children’s Museum’.
